Rebecca Vonier
Social Worker

Ms. Vonier is the half-time school counselor at Deer Creek Elementary. She is a LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) with a masters degree and is licensed in the state of CO.
Rebecca has worked with children and families in the field of mental health for 10 years. Most of which was in Louisiana. Her family moved to the Bailey area last summer. Her two children attend Deer Creek Elementary and Preschool.

Karen Berg

Mrs. Berg moved to Colorado in 1985 after graduating from Eastern Illinois University with her masterbs degree in speech/language pathology. She joined the Platte Canyon School District in 1986 but left in 1994 to stay home with her children. Mrs. Berg returned to Platte Canyon in 2003. She enjoys working with students of all ages. Mrs. Berg currently resides in Littleton with her husband and four children (three of which are triplets!). When asked why she doesnbt work closer to home, Mrs. Berg replies, bBailey is like home. I love the staff, the students, and the families I have come to know over the years. In her spare time she sings, plays the piano, and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Amanda Quist

Ms. Quist grew up in the mountains east of Albuquerque, NM and has lived in four other states since graduating high school. She and her husband, Brent love Colorado and plan to make it their final destination. Amanda received her COTA while living in Las Vegas, NV and has worked in pediatrics ever since. This is her first time working in the educational system. She has a little one on the way and hopes for more to come in the future. She loves hiking, skiing, doing ceramics and reading.

Shay Markle

Mrs. Markle was raised in Oklahoma and recieved her bachelor's and master's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Oklahoma Health and Science Center. She moved to Colorado from Wyoming in 2005 and enjoys mountain life. Although being an Occupational Therapist is rewarding, Mrs. Markle also finds time to enjoy her three children and husband. Mrs. Markle enjoys the challenge of helping children attain their highest possible level of independence. In her spare time she enjoys reading and hiking.
