Mrs. Sellers has been married for almost 29 years. Her husband Roger is a geophysicist and an avid ATVer.
Karen received a BS in Special Education from Indiana University (IUSB and Bloomington) in 1977. Following my degree, I also took additional classes at Indiana University/Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI) and the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) to add endorsements to my original license. I have 14 years of teaching experience. I have taught children with a variety of disabilities from the early elementary level through high school. Because of my husband’s job, we have moved frequently. This has allowed me to see education from the perspective of several states.
In addition to a Colorado Professional Teacher License as a Special Education Generalist (Ages 5-12), I also hold a Standard Texas Teaching Certificate in Generic Special Education (Grade PK-12) and a Standard Oklahoma Teaching Certificate in the areas of Learning Disabilities, Mentally Handicapped and Physically Handicapped.
