Mr. Sandos has lived in Bailey for many years.   He came to Deer Creek Elementary from Denver Public Schools.   He began his career in education in 1979 and joined the staff at Deer Creek in 2006.

Derek Mullner has been a teacher in the intermediate grades since the year 2000.   After four years at Deer Creek, Derek has ventured out of the classroom and joined the administrative team.   He is most excited about the opportunity to create a positive school culture through the implementation of the S.O.A.R. program.   In 1999, Derek received his B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado, and in May of 2007, he earned his M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University, Cambridge, MA.
