Get to Know Our Staff

Ms. LeVasseur came to Deer Creek with five years experience with Migrant Head Start in Nebraska plus five years with another school district. She graduated from Chadron State College, Chadron, Nebraska with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education along with an Early Childhood Endorsement in 2001. In 2006, Celena completed her Master's Degree in Literacy, Language, and Culture at Adam's State College in Alamosa, Co. She taught six years of kindergarten and this year will be her second year teaching first grade and is excited about being the team leader for first grade.

Mrs. Finer received her elementary education degree through Regis University.   Before coming to Deer Creek she taught severe needs students, K through 5th grades.   She is currently working on her master's degree in reading and literacy instruction.   During her free time, Mrs. Finer enjoys spending time with her family, going hiking, skiing, and reading lots of books.

Miss Impson is a native of Bailey and attended the Platte Canyon school district for her entire education. After graduating from Platte Canyon High School, she went on to receive her bachelors degree in elementary education from the University of Northern Colorado. She loves working with children and helping them learn. In her spare time, Miss Impson enjoys running, hiking, reading a good book, and spending time with friends and family.

Ms. Bruyere began teaching at Deer Creek in 2006. She attended the University of Northern Colorado where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She will begin work on her Master’s Degree in Literacy starting in January at the University of Colorado.
