Get to Know Our Staff

Ms. LeVasseur came to Deer Creek with five years experience with Migrant Head Start in Nebraska. Three of those years she was the Site Facilitator. She graduated from Chadron State College, Chadron, Nebraska with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education along with an Early Childhood Endorsement in 2001. In 2006, Celena completed her Master's Degree in Literacy, Language, and Culture at Adam's State College in Alamosa, Co. She taught one year of first grade and this year will be her sixth year teaching Kindergarten.

Miss Zeman began teaching at Deer Creek in 2006. She attended the University of Northern Colorado where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She will begin work on her Master’s Degree in Literacy starting in January at the University of Colorado.
